The Integrity Division is committed to strengthening a culture of integrity, good governance, and accountability across the University community. In line with the University’s aspiration to remain excellent and competitive, integrity serves as a fundamental pillar in ensuring the long-term sustainability of the institution. In tandem with the implementation of the UNIMAS Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP), the Integrity Division plays a pivotal role as a key driver in enhancing a service delivery system that is transparent, ethical and accountable. This role is operationalised through the execution of the core functions of the Integrity Division, spanning key domains of governance, integrity enhancement, detection and verification, complaint management, compliance and disciplinary actions, undertaken in a comprehensive, integrated and high-impact manner. Guided by a holistic approach encompassing prevention, detection and remediation, the Integrity Division remains steadfast in ensuring that risks related to corruption, abuse of power and non-compliance are effectively managed with the highest standards of integrity. In addition, efforts to strengthen awareness through advocacy programmes, capacity-building initiatives and the enhancement of internal control systems will continue to be intensified to cultivate a workforce that is ethical, trustworthy and accountable in all actions and decisions. It is our aspiration that the Integrity Division will continue to lead in fostering a culture of integrity and advancing best practices in governance within UNIMAS. The commitment and support of the entire University community remain essential in embedding integrity as a shared value and practice.
